The 2016 SAISLeads Retreat

The SAISLeads retreat on August 29 & 30, 2016 offered 37 SAIS students the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the study of leadership. Guided by coaches from Incite Learning, through group activities and independent reflection, students discovered their own leadership style and explored the dynamics of different personality types in team building.  The group included MIPP, MIEF and MA students and several dual-degree candidates.  Four of the participants spent last year at the Hopkins-Nanjing Center and nine spent their first year in Bologna.  Among the group was the founder of the SAIS Europe Debate Society, the Vice President of the SAIS China Club, an Assistant Editor of SAIS Review, many students who have served as student government leaders on their respective campuses, and several leaders from career clubs including the ERE Club, Defense & Intelligence Club, and Global Women in Leadership.
