A New Twist on an Old Classic

image
SAIS has a new look. And it’s not just SAIS, it’s all of Johns Hopkins University.  Johns Hopkins University consists of nine - NINE! - different divisions/schools.  SAIS is one such division.  Up until now, we all had different branding and identities, so it was hard for anyone outside the Johns Hopkins community to see the connection between these different divisions.  But starting today, all of the Johns Hopkins schools have a new look that conveys both our connection to the Johns Hopkins educational community and our unique identity as thought and educational leaders in our respective fields.  As for SAIS, we’ve chosen to retain our trademark “SAIS” within our logo, and to incorporate the image of a globe, which we feel captures the essence of SAIS as a global presence. The image of the globe not only equally represents all three of our campuses; it also speaks to our global network of alumni.
So look for our new logo - we’ve already incorporated it into our website, Facebook, and Twitter feeds.  For other elements (like signage and stationary), it may take a little longer to update.  We’re looking forward to seeing the new logo around campus, too.  And the students below seem pretty happy with the change!
