Francisco González, SAIS professor of Latin American Studies, chatting with several alums at the reception in Mexico City. We had a great turnout at our reception in Mexico City.
The money shot! All the Mexico City SAIS alums gather with Professor González and Bahar for a group photo.

We have the best alums! Everyone wanted their picture taken with Professor González!
Bahar Alagheband, SAIS Admissions Coordinator, is on a mission this week to find the best and the brightest in Mexico and Texas.  Yesterday, after two great visits at Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México and Tecnologico de Monterrey, she - along with our colleagues from SIPA, Georgetown SFS, and Fletcher - hosted a reception for prospects and alumni in Mexico City.
And what a reception it was!  Bahar sent me some picture, and I thought I would share them here.  In addition to our SAIS alums, Bahar was also joined by Francisco González, a SAIS professor who teaches in our Latin American Studies program.  Dr. González just happened to be in Mexico City at the same time; earlier in the day, he was at the Inter-American Bank (IDB) giving a lecture.
Sadly, Bahar had to leave Mexico; she’s now on her way to San Antonio.  To find out where in Texas she’ll be this week, take a look at our recruiting schedule.
Thanks for reading!
