Who says summer is slow?

many people think that the summer season is when people working in higher ed get to relax, work shorter hours, take long lunches … but not at SAIS Admissions!  We’ve had a very busy week, or to be a little more specific, a very busy Tuesday.
This past Tuesday, SAIS and our Group of Four (G4) colleagues (Columbia SIPA, Tufts Fletcher, and Georgetown SFS) held an information session at the World Bank for young employees interested in graduate school in international affairs.
And later that evening, G4 hosted a much larger even on the SAIS campus: SUMMERFEST!
Summerfest is an annual event that is a cross between an information session, a graduate fair, and a reception.  Representatives and alumni from all the G4 schools were there, mingling with and answering questions for approximately 300 attendees.
Wish you could have attended?  Well, you still can!  Past years have been so successful that we’ve decided to hold an additional Summerfest event in July.  For more info and to register, visit
