What SAIS Students Do On Summer Break

Since the summer session has officially begun at SAIS, I wanted to briefly talk about what SAIS students do over their summer break.  And that’s really a misnomer, because SAIS students don’t really take breaks - and I mean that in a good way.  Our students strive to take advantage of every possible opportunity they can while they’re at SAIS, and that includes summer, too.  Most of our students do internships or pursue language study (or both!), while some students choose less conventional (but just as valuable) activities.  An example:
Petra, Jordan.
A group of SAIS students, all of whom are involved with International Human Rights Clinic, traveled to Jordan to attend The Protection Project’s conference, titled “Middle East Regional Colloquium on Clinical Legal Education: Developing Clinical Programs and Expanding Access to Justice.”
